Moi, Tervetuloa!
Hello and welcome to our blog!
We are Lotte and Mikael, we are both students at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, in the beautiful town of Porvoo. Let us introduce ourselves!

I am Lotte, I am 21 years old and I would describe myself as a traveler. I have already travelled to 36 different countries in my life, which is why I decided now to study Tourism and Event Management.
I already decided to study in Finland a couple of years ago; the reasons behind that were that I have never visited this country before, I felt like I had a special connection to it and the education system is high quality. However, one of the most important reason for me to come to Finland was to finally see my favourite dog breed, Huskies, in their country of origin!

Hi! My name is Mikael (but you can call me Mike) and I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in a small village in the Italian Alps, but my spirit of discovery took me away from my nest.
I have a passion (or should I say an obsession?) for aviation: when I first stepped into a plane 15 years ago, I realized straight away that I belonged there (chemistry of love, right?). For this reason, I’m now studying in the Aviation Business program: turning my passion into my field of studies is thrilling!
Also, Finland has intrigued me for a very long time: when I walked around Helsinki for the first time, I just felt like I found my place to be in the world.
So, you may wonder why a German girl and an Italian boy ended up writing a blog together.
Well, first of all, we share the same enthusiasm for traveling and exploring new cultures.
Also, we want to share this amazing experience with the world: we want you to be part of this awesome journey we are on now.
So now lean back, subscribe to our blog, and stay tuned for the upcoming posts!
