Today I would like to share with you some of my favourite Finnish blogs and YouTube channels, as an inspiration for you to explore and support more of the Finnish culture.
The first blog I would like to mention is https://sallimatkalla.com. My Finnish classmate and friend Salli is a big travel enthusiast and has already been to plenty of places in different parts of the world. Sharing her love for exploring different destinations with the readers, her blog contains some of her favourite travel stories. Although most of Salli´s blog is written in Finnish, you can find alongside beautiful pictures also a section called “Travellers Story”, which contains interviews with other travel enthusiasts (and the first one features me, so go and check that one out).

The second link I want to share with you is the YouTube channel travelwithhasan (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWqjJLH9R9gL0YREig3Qy6Q). Hasan is Pakistani living in Kuopio, Finland. If you follow his channel, he will not only take you on his road trips showing you the beautiful sights of Finland, but you can also listen to interesting discussions about foreigners living in Finland and how to integrate in European society. All of his videos are in English so grab yourself a pulla and start watching the first video.
The second YouTube channel I want to share with you belongs to a very talented Finnish artist. Vilma aka Mubsi (https://www.youtube.com/user/MuBsixOtaku) shares with her beautiful voice original and covered music. With only 20 years she plays cello, double bass, electric bass, piano, ukulele and alto saxophone. It is very relaxing music you can just put on while doing other tasks or you take a cup of coffee and just fully dive into it.
Mubsi also sometimes published different kinds of videos like her trip to Japan or making a cosplay.
An important website to keep in your sidebar when planning a trip to Finland is https://www.visitfinland.com. On here you can find the latest news about traveling to Finland, you can find articles on what to do where to stay and how to explore Finland at its best. With a lot of beautiful pictures, entertaining videos, well written articles and fun quizzes this is the best way to prepare for your Finland vacation.
Lastly, I would like to share the link to our university's YouTube channel with you. At https://www.youtube.com/user/HAAGAHELIAviestinta you can find videos by Haaga-Helia university. With a mix of Finnish and English videos Haaga-Helia represents their study programs and besides advertising applying to the university they also share different videos like introducing and telling the stories of current students how they go impacted by their journey at Haaga-Helia.
